Mindfulness-Based Mind Fit Training® (MMFT)

Elizabeth Stanley, Ph.D. developed MMFT for "people who’ve experienced prolonged stress and trauma without adequate recovery . . ." It provides the benefits of mindfulness with mind training that teaches the brain it is grounded, stable, and safe.



The first exercise in the MMFT® program is The Contacts Points Exercise®. This 5-minute exercise draws your attention to physical sensations of contact points between you and the chair and your feet on the ground and between your arms, hands, and lap.


Awareness practices like mindfulness meditation and yoga have the potential to increase stress arousal and emotions in your body.
