Welcome to Life With Antidepressants!

Through storytelling and resources, we aim to amplify the voices of those who are currently experiencing side effects and withdrawal symptoms from psychiatric medication—whether they are currently on or off medication.

The pharmaceutical industry has been withholding information from patients and doctors that could have avoided the life-changing pain and suffering of so many individuals and families.

During the shift in social contact due to the pandemic, feelings of grief, sadness, and isolation are understandably growing. It is our hope that you'll find information that will help you to be an educated consumer of mental health services should you need them.

Home: Welcome

IF YOU ARE ON MEDICATION PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP YOUR MEDICATION COLD TURKEY. TALK TO YOUR PRESCRIBER ABOUT GETTING OFF THEM USING A SLOW TAPER. I AM NOT A DOCTOR, PSYCHIATRIST, or TRAINED THERAPIST; THESE ARE THE OPINIONS OF A SURVIVOR.

If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your country's local emergency line) or go to an emergency room.

Be Prepared: Explain that it is a psychiatric emergency and ask for someone who is trained to help with one.
